Installation 3.0L Diesel Engine

- Using a lint free towel, wipe the power steering pump opening, the power steering pressure line end and the power steering pump port.
- Install a new O-ring. Lubricate the O-ring with clean power steering fluid.
- Position the power steering pump in the engine and install the two power steering pump bolts (1). Tighten the power steering pump bolts to the proper
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the power steering pressure hose (1) with new washers. Tighten the power steering pressure line to the proper
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the power steering return hose (1).
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Check for leaks.
