Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL .
  2. Paint mark the flex plate hub to flex plate relation.
  3. Remove the bolts (1) and the flex plate (3).
  4. If necessary, remove the counter weight (4) and the tone wheel (5).
  5. Inspect the flex plate for damage.
