Radiator, Engine Cooling: Installation: 3.2L
- If removed, install the cooling fan onto the radiator. Tighten to bolts (1) to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- If removed, install the upper radiator hose (2) onto the radiator and secure the clamp.
- Position the radiator into the lower mounting (1) isolators on the radiator lower support.
- Install the condenser to the radiator (1). Tighten the bolts (2) to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).
- Install and securely tighten the transmission cooler line support brace bolt (1).
- Connect the wire harness connector to the A/C pressure switch.
- Install the A/C fill port support bracket (2) and securely tighten the fastener.
- Install the upper radiator mounts (1) and tighten bolts to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Install the upper radiator hose onto the upper coolant cross over pipe and secure the clamp.
- Install the upper radiator close out panel (1) and securely tighten the fasteners.
- Install the wiring harness (7) to the air deflector.
- Install the hood release cable (3) to the air deflector.
- Connect the horn wire harness connectors (6).
- Connect the cooling fan wire harness connector (4).
- Connect the ambient air temperature sensor wire harness connector (5).
- Install the side air deflectors (2) onto the upper radiator closeout panel (1).
- Install the hood latch. Refer to LATCH, HOOD, INSTALLATION .
- Install the lower radiator hose.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- Install the engine cover.
