Fan, Cooling: Installation: Gas

  1. Guide the cooling fan into position onto the radiator while clearing the upper radiator hose.
  2. Once into position, insert the lower tabs into the retainers (3, 5).
  3. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).

  4. Install the upper radiator mounts (1) and tighten the bolts (2) to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).

  5. Install the cooling fan wire harness connector (1).

  6. Install the transmission oil cooler and tighten the bolts (2) to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).

  7. Install the transmission cooler lines support brace bolt (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).

  8. Install the upper air deflector (1).
  9. Install the hood release cable (3).
  10. Install the wiring harness (7).
  11. Connect the ambient air temperature sensor (5) wire harness connector.

  12. Connect the cooling fan wiring harness connector (1).
  13. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
  14. Install the engine cover.
  15. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
