Removal And Installation: 1.4L: Removal

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

Disconnect the power cord (4) from the engine block heater (3).
Remove screw (2) from the engine block heater (3) and remove the heater assembly (3) from the engine block.

If required, Remove the bolt (1) and the power cord bracket (2) from the right strut tower.
