Sensor, Accelerator Pedal Position: Installation: Installation

CAUTION:

The accelerator pedal and mounting nuts need to be torque in a mandatory torque sequence or damage could result to the pedal assembly.

  1. Install the accelerator pedal (2). Tighten the nuts (1) to the proper SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Connect the accelerator pedal wire harness connector.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  4. Use a scan tool and perform the APPS RELEARN function.
