Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE

NOTE:

Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?

Yes
- Perform the U0100-87-Lost Communication with ECM/PCM diagnostic procedure. Refer to U0100-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH PCM .
No
- Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure. Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS .
