Cable, Shift Interlock: Removal: Removal

Disconnect the battery.
Remove the shifter housing. Refer to REMOVAL .
Separate the shift interlock cable from the shifter.

Remove the bolts (1) at the shifter.
Remove lower shroud at steering column. Refer to REMOVAL .
Place the ignition switch in the ON position.

Depress the clip on the shift interlock cable (2) and pull cable out of column (1).
Remove the cable.
