With the scan tool, read PCM Brake DTCs.
Are there any PCM Brake DTCs present?

Yes
- Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Refer to 2.0L & 2.4L - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
No
- Using the schematics as a guide, check the PCM terminals for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Pay particular attention to all power and ground circuits.
- Perform the appropriate VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
