2.0L Diesel

  1. Install the generator. Tighten bolts (2 and 3) to 70 N.m (52 ft. lbs.).
  2. Tighten bracket bolt (1) to 70 N.m (52 ft. lbs.).

  3. Connect the generator field connector (1) and position the B+ cable (3) to the generator stud.
  4. Install the B+ nut (2). Tighten nut to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).

  5. Install the accessory drive belt (1). Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .

  6. Install the oil filter with cooler housing assembly. .
  7. Install the Power Transfer Unit (PTU). Refer to INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the belly pan (2) and securely tighten bolts (3).
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
