Isolator, Front CROSSMEMBER, Frame: Installation: Installation

Place the front isolator (2) onto the crossmember (1) and position as indicated.

Place the rear isolator (2) onto the crossmember (1) and position as indicated.

NOTE:

Prior to using special tools, lubricate Press, Ball Joint (special tool #C-4212F, Press, Ball Joint) (1) threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.

Assemble tools over isolator crossmember assembly as shown:
1. (special tool #9678, Press Plug)
2. Crossmember
3. (special tool #9776, Cup, Receiver)
4. (special tool #C-4212F, Press, Ball Joint)
Tighten Press, (D) screw-drive, pressing isolator into crossmember (B). Install isolator until isolator can flange contacts surface of crossmember.
Install the crossmember.
