Set Condition

Short to Battery Failure:  A failure is detected if the output stage power supply voltage level is greater than a predefined voltage threshold.

Open Circuit Failure:  A failure is detected if two or more output stage ASICs are reporting to the microcontroller an open circuit failure within a predefined period of time.

Short to Ground / Overcurrent Failure:  A failure is detected if the measured current through the output stage power supply is greater than a predefined maximum allowed current threshold.
