Set Condition

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2014 Dodge Journey. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The EPPM will set this DTC if it detects an open or high resistance on the EPPM Squib 1 circuits. The DTC will set when the EPPM squib 1 circuits become open for more than 2.6 seconds. The DTC will go from active to stored when the module sees a recovery from the open for more than 2.6 seconds. The Airbag Warning Lamp (AWL) will be on while faulted condition is active. The AWL will turn off as soon as the condition is removed and the fault causing the lamp to be "on" dematures.
