Sensor, Air Temperature, Intake: Removal: 6.4L

The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (4) is installed into the air cleaner duct (3).

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector at the IAT sensor (4).
  2. Gently lift on the small plastic release tab and rotate the IAT sensor about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and remove.
  3. Check condition of sensor O-ring, replace if necessary.
