Exhaust Temperature Sensor 1/2
CAUTION:
The exhaust gas temperature sensor requires care when handling and installing. The exhaust gas temperature sensor is sensitive to knocks and bending. For this reason if the exhaust gas temperature sensor has been dropped, it must not be installed as damage to the sensor may have occurred. Do not remove from packaging until ready to install. Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
- Install the exhaust temperature sensor (1) and tighten to 47 N.m (35 ft. lbs.).
- Connect the exhaust temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Install the transmission skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSMISSION, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
