Module, Powertrain Control: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

Right hand drive PCM is in a different location (shown in illustration below).

  1. The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) (3-Left Hand Drive), or (3-Right Hand Drive) is located in the engine compartment.
  2. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  3. Disconnect PCM electrical connectors (4-Left Hand Drive), or (5-Right Hand Drive).
  4. Remove PCM mounting screws (5-Left Hand Drive), or (4-Right Hand Drive).
  5. Remove PCM (3-Left Hand Drive), or (3-Right Hand Drive) from vehicle.
