Shaft, Axle: Installation: Installation

- Lubricate bearing bore and seal lip with gear lubricant. Insert axle shaft through seal, bearing and engage it into side gear splines.NOTE:
Use care to prevent shaft splines from damaging axle shaft seal.
- Install O-ring (1) and snap ring (2) on axle shaft (3).
- Push the axle shaft until the axle shaft snap-ring passes through the side gear.
- Install right half shaft.
- Check differential fluid level.
