Possible Causes

(T54) TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
(T54) TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE

Always perform the CVT Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to  STANDARD PROCEDURE  .
