Diagnostic Test

- TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
- Turn the rear defogger ON.
- Operate the Mirror Switch in all directions several times.
- With the scan tool, read the DTCs.
Does the scan tool display: B1D34-DRIVER MIRROR HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH?
Yes
- Go To 2.
No
- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
- TEST FOR A SHORTED MIRROR
- Turn the ignition off.
- Disconnect the Driver Door Module C2 connector.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, erase the DTCs.
- Turn the rear defogger ON.
- Operate the Mirror Switch in all directions several times.
- With the scan tool, read the DTCs.
Does the scan tool display: B1D34-DRIVER MIRROR HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH?
Yes
- Replace the Driver Door Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Inspect the mirror harness wires for a shorted condition and repair as necessary. If the mirror wiring is OK, replace the Mirror in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
