The charging system consists of:

• Generator
• Decoupler Pulley (If equipped)
• Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
• Ignition switch (refer to IGNITION SYSTEM - SERVICE INFORMATION for information)
• Battery (refer to BATTERY SYSTEM - SERVICE INFORMATION for information)
• Inlet Air Temperature
• Voltmeter (refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - SERVICE INFORMATION for information if equipped)
• Wiring harness and connections (refer to the appropriate Wiring service information for information)
• Accessory drive belt (refer to ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM for more information)
• Clutch Pulley (If equipped)
• Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry internally regulated for the diesel application.
