Pump, Water: Removal: 2.8L

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Remove the radiator fan. Refer to FAN, COOLING, ELECTRIC, REMOVAL .
Drain cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the lifting bracket (1).

Remove the upper front cover (2).

Remove the crankshaft damper (1) and lower front cover (2).

Remove the timing belt.

Remove the inner front cover.

Remove the water pump retaining bolts and the pump assembly.
