Sensor, Crankshaft Position: Removal: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the flexplate. Refer to FLEXPLATE, REMOVAL or FLEXPLATE, REMOVAL, 5.7L or FLEXPLATE, REMOVAL .

Disconnect the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) wiring harness connector (1).

Remove bolts attaching the harness connector bracket to oil pan.

Remove bolt (1) and the (CKP) (2).
