5.7L Dual Fan

Fig 1: Fan Motor Wiring Harness, Fan Shroud, Fan Blade & Bolts

Install the fan blade (4) to the fan motor. Tighten the nut (3) to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the fan motor assembly to the shroud (6). Tighten nut (3) to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
Route the fan motor wiring harness (5) through the fan shroud (6).

Install the cooling fan assembly (1) into the lower radiator mounts (2).

Install the cooling fan mounting bolts (2). Tighten bolts to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
Connect the cooling fan wire harness connector (1).

Install the upper radiator hose.
Install the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION, 5.7L .
Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Operate the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
