Right Fuel Rail

No sparks, open flames or smoking. Risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel. Risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing.

Install the fuel rail (1). Tighten bolts (2) to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
NOTE:
Fuel tubes must be replaced anytime they are removed.
Install the high pressure fuel rail tubes. Refer to TUBE(S), FUEL, INSTALLATION .

Connect the fuel rail pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).
Install the intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION or MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION, 5.7L or MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable.
Start the engine and inspect for leaks.
