Sensor, Ambient Temperature: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the ambient temperature sensor (2).

  4. Remove the fastener (1) that secures the ambient temperature sensor bracket to the front bumper beam.
  5. Remove the ambient temperature sensor from the vehicle.
