Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) 
    1. With a scan tool, read and record DTC.
    2. With the scan tool, clear DTC.
    3. Turn the ignition off and remove the key from the ignition.
    4. Lock and close all doors to allow the VTSS to go from pre-arm to armed status and wait one minute.
    5. Disarm the VTSS.
    6. With the scan tool, read ITM DTC.

      Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

      Yes 

      • Using the scan tool under Miscellaneous functions initialize the Intrusion Transceiver Module.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

      No 

      • Test complete. The DTC is not active at this time.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
