Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

NOTE:

Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Is this DTC active?

Yes
- Perform the diagnostic procedure for DTC U0141. Refer to U0141 - LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM) .
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
