Vehicle Emission Control Information Label
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 Jeep Patriot and 2017 Jeep Compass. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
All models have a Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Label. The label is permanently attached in the engine compartment. It cannot be removed without defacing information and destroying the label.
The label contains the vehicle's model year and what regulations the vehicle conforms to also if the vehicle is On Board Diagnostics (OBD) II compliant.
