Module, Transmission Control (TCM): Removal

NOTE:

LHD model shown in illustrations. RHD model TCM located in similar area on Left side of interior.

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

    NOTE:

    The TCM is located on the bulkhead near the left kick panel.

  2. If equipped, remove silencer pad on left side.

  3. Disconnect the two electrical connectors (2) at the TCM (3).
  4. Position body harness to the side to gain access to the TCM mounting studs.
  5. Remove the two nuts that hold the TCM to the bulkhead.

  6. Slide the TCM off the mounting studs (1) and remove from the vehicle.
