USE THE SCAN TOOL TO REPROGRAM THE NEW POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) WITH THE VEHICLES ORIGINAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) AND THE VEHICLES ORIGINAL MILEAGE. IF THIS STEP IS NOT DONE, A DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) MAY BE SET.

Position the PCM (4) on the air cleaner body cover.
Install three mounting bolts (3) with one ground wire (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
Check pins in electrical connectors for damage. Repair as necessary.
Connect and lock the electrical connectors (2).
Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
Use the scan tool to reprogram new PCM with vehicles original Identification Number (VIN) and original vehicle mileage.
