4 - BRACKET

Clean old gasket material from cylinder head and thermostat housing (2).
Install thermostat housing (2) with gasket (1) and support bracket (4) to cylinder head. Torque bolts (3) to 28 N.m. (250 in. lbs.).
Connect coolant bypass hose and upper radiator hose to thermostat housing (2).
Refill cooling system. See Cooling - Standard Procedure .
Install engine cover. Refer to Engine - Installation .
Connect negative battery cable.
