CHECK FOR ACTIVE B1BAA-OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE CONFIGURATION MISMATCH
1. With the scan tool, read Occupant Restraints Controller (ORC) DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display an active B1BAA-OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE CONFIGURATION MISMATCH DTC?
  
  Yes
  - Go to step 2
  No
  - Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time.
  - Perform the AIRBAG SYSTEM INTERMITTENT TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/CONTROLLER, Occupant Restraint (ORC) - Standard Procedure .
CHECKING FOR CORRUPT CONFIGURATION MESSAGE
1. With the scan tool, read Occupant Restraints Controller (ORC) DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display an active U1414-IMPLAUSIBLE/MISSING ECU NETWORK CONFIGURATION DATA DTC?
  
  Yes
  - See DTC-Based Diagnostics/CONTROLLER, Occupant Restraint (ORC) - Diagnosis and Testing and perform the U1414-IMPLAUSIBLE/MISSING ECU NETWORK CONFIGURATION DATA diagnostic test.
  No
  - Go to step 3
CHECKING FOR LOSS OF CAN BUS CONFIGURATION MESSAGE
1. With the scan tool, read Occupant Restraints Controller (ORC) DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display an active U1415-IMPLAUSIBLE/MISSING VEHICLE CONFIGURATION DATA DTCs?
  
  Yes
  - See DTC-Based Diagnostics/CONTROLLER, Occupant Restraint (ORC) - Diagnosis and Testing and perform the U1415-IMPLAUSIBLE/MISSING VEHICLE CONFIGURATION DATA diagnostic test.
  No
  - Go to step 4
CHECKING FOR LOSS OF COMMUNICATION WITH THE TIPM
1. With the scan tool, read Occupant Restraints Controller (ORC) DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display an active U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH FRONT CONTROL MODULE (TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE) DTC?
  
  Yes
  - Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Diagnosis and Testing and perform the U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM).
  No
  - Replace the ORC in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the AIRBAG SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/CONTROLLER, Occupant Restraint (ORC) - Standard Procedure .
