Diagnostic Test

DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan tool, Clear DTCs in the Engine Control Module (ECM).
3. Monitor the scan tool for at least two minutes.
4. Cycle the ignition key off and on several times, leaving the ignition on for at least 10 seconds at a time.
5. Start the engine.
6. Allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature.
7. With the scan tool, select View DTCs.
  Is the status Active for this DTC?
  
  Yes
  - Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics, MODULE - Front Control, for diagnostic procedures and for further possible causes. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Front Control (FCM) - Diagnosis and Testing
  No
  - Refer to the INTERMITTENT DTC Diagnostic Procedure. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Engine Control (ECM) - Standard Procedure
