- Position water pump assembly (1) and gasket onto cylinder block.
- Position water inlet tube (4) and gasket onto water pump (1).
- Install mounting bolts (2). Tighten bolts to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
- Install drive belt splash shield.
- Lower vehicle.
- Install accessory drive belt. See Installation .
- Evacuate air and refill cooling system. See Standard Procedure
- Check cooling system for leaks. See Diagnosis and Testing
