Intrusion Module: Installation

  1. Position the intrusion module (2) into the cavity on the right outboard end of the intermediate step assembly (1) and insert the two mounting tabs on the sides of the module into the slots in the floor of the cavity.
  2. Slide the module into the slots of the intermediate step cavity, until the two latch features integral to the cavity are fully engaged over the mounting tabs on the sides of the module.
  3. Reconnect the body wire harness connector (3) to the module connector receptacle.
  4. Reinstall the carpeted cover panel over the cavity on the right outboard end of the intermediate step assembly.
  5. Restore the right outboard second row seat assembly to its normal seating position.
  6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
