MODULE, Engine Control: Installation: Installation

NOTE: Any time a new injector is installed, or if an existing injector is installed in any location other than its original location, the injector quantity adjustment procedure must be performed. Refer to Fuel System/Fuel Injection/INJECTOR(S), Fuel - Standard Procedure

  1. Install Engine Control Module (ECM) (1) into the bracket (3).
  2. Position ECM into bracket and align bolt holes.
  3. Tight two hold down bolts (2)

  4. Connect two ECM electrical connectors (2).
  5. Install the battery tray. Refer to Electrical/Battery System/TRAY, Battery - Installation
  6. Install the battery. Refer to Electrical/Battery System/BATTERY - Installation
    NOTE: The new ECM must be programmed. See Standard Procedure  .
