Diagnostic Test

  1. 1) VERIFY ACTIVE DTC 

    With the scan tool, erase ECM DTC's

    Test drive the vehicle.

    With the scan tool, read ECM DTC's

    Did this DTC set again? 

    Yes 

    1. Refer to symptom CHECKING THE EGR SYSTEM for further diagnosis.

    No 

    1. Refer to *CHECKING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
