Crankshaft Position Sensor: Removal: Removal

- Remove the battery. Refer to REMOVAL

- Remove the battery tray. Refer to REMOVAL
.
- Remove the belly pan (4).

- Disconnect the air inlet hose (1) from the throttle body.

- Remove the upper dipstick tube support bracket bolt (1).

- Disconnect the boost pressure sensor harness connector (1).

- Remove the bolt (1) from the intercooler outlet tube, the clamp at the intercooler, and remove the intercooler outlet tube.
- Remove the lower dipstick tube support bracket bolt, and the wiring harness bracket bolt from the oil cooler assembly.
- Position the dipstick tube aside.
- Drain the engine coolant.

- Disconnect the coolant supply (1) and return (2) lines from the oil cooler assembly.

- Disconnect the turbocharger oil supply line (1) from the oil cooler assembly.

- Disconnect the oil pressure sensor harness connector (3).

- Remove the turbocharger oil supply line support bracket bolt (2).

- Remove the 4 bolts from the oil cooler/filter adapter assembly (1).
- Remove the oil cooler/filter assembly.

- Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor harness connector.
- Remove the crankshaft position sensor bolt (1).
- Remove the crankshaft position sensor (2).
