3.0L Diesel

  1. Install the pump (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the pump mounting bracket bolts. Tighten to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
  3. Reconnect the supply hose at the pump.
  4. Install the pressure line at the pump. Tighten the nut to 47 N.m (35 ft. lbs.).
  5. Install the drive belt. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the inner cooler muffler mounting bolts.
  7. Install the battery tray. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the battery. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the engine top cover.
  10. Fill the power steering system. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  11. Bleed the hydraulic fan system using a scan tool. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
