Sensor-Engine Coolant Temperature: Removal: Removal-3.7L

1 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (ETC)
2 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
WARNING: Hot, pressurized coolant can cause injury by scalding. Cooling system must be partially drained before removing the coolant temperature sensor.
  1. Remove air cleaner assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
  2. Partially drain the cooling system.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the engine coolant sensor (1).
  4. Remove the sensor from the intake manifold.
