Sensor-Fuel Temperature: Installation

| 3 - HIGH PRESSURE SUPPLY TO FUEL RAIL |
| 4 - FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR |
| 5 - FUEL QUANTITY SOLENOID |
| 6 - HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP |
- Clean sealing surfaces.
- Install new seal on sensor.
- Screw the sensor into the high pressure pump and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lbs.ft.). See Fig 1.
- Connect the temperature sensor wiring harness connector.
- Connect the fuel quantity solenoid wiring harness connector.
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Start engine, allow to warm, shut engine off and inspect for leaks (Refer to WARNING - HIGH FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE - DIESEL ).
