Stabilizer Bar: Installation

  1. Install the stabilizer bar on the axle mounts and install the retainers and bolts.
    NOTE: Ensure the bar is centered with equal spacing on both sides and is positioned above the differential housing. See Figure.
  2. Tighten the retainer bolts to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
  3. Install the links onto the stabilizer bar and frame mounts. Install the bolts and nuts finger tight.
  4. Remove support and lower vehicle.
  5. Tighten the link nuts/bolts to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
