Lower Control Arm: Removal
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove the lower clevis bracket bolt at the lower control arm.
- Remove the stabilizer link bolt at the lower control arm.
- Remove the lower ball joint nut.
- Separate the lower ball joint from the lower control arm using tool C-4150A.NOTE: Marking the lower control arm pivot bolts front and rear will aid in the assembly procedure.
- Mark the lower control arm pivot bolts front and rear.
- Remove the front cam/pivot bolt. See Fig 1
- Remove the rear cam/pivot bolt. See Fig 1
- Remove the lower control arm from the vehicle.
