Fluid Level Check Without Using DRB(R)III Scan Tool

At normal operating temperature of about 180°F (82°C), fluid level is correct if it is in HOT region (cross-hatched area) on oil level indicator. When transmission fluid temperature is 70°F (21°C), fluid level should be in COLD region. Adjust fluid level as necessary.
