Overdrive Switch: Installation

  1. Install overdrive OFF (control) switch on accessory switch bezel. Position accessory switch bezel on instrument panel. Reconnect instrument panel wiring harness connectors to connector receptacles for accessory switches and cigar lighter/power outlet on back of accessory switch bezel. See Figure .
  2. Position accessory switch bezel on instrument panel. Install and tighten screws securing accessory switch bezel to instrument panel. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Position center bezel on instrument panel. Align snap clips on center bezel with receptacles in instrument panel base trim. Using hand pressure, press firmly on center bezel over each snap clip location until each snap clip is fully engaged in its receptacle in instrument panel base trim.
  4. Install and tighten 2 screws securing top of center bezel to top of instrument panel structural support. See Figure . See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Position top cover on instrument panel. Align snap clips on top cover with snap clip receptacles in instrument panel structural support. Using hand pressure, press firmly downward on top cover over each snap clip location until each snap clip is fully seated in its receptacle in instrument panel structural support. Reconnect negative battery cable.
