Installation - Axle Lock Switch

WARNING: ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS, DISABLE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY STEERING WHEEL, STEERING COLUMN, OR INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. SEE AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS ARTICLE. THIS IS THE ONLY SURE WAY TO DISABLE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. FAILURE TO TAKE THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.

Position the axle lock switch over the proper receptacle on the back of the accessory switch bezel.
Evenly push the axle lock switch into the receptacle until the snap features on the top and bottom of the switch housing are fully engaged to the receptacle.
Reinstall the accessory switch bezel onto the instrument cluster. See ACCESSORY SWITCH BEZEL .
Reconnect the battery negative cable.
