Section 150 (Power Liftgate System): Liftgate: Adjustments: In/out

- Remove the upper liftgate trim. (Refer to LIFTGATE OPENING UPPER TRIM )
- For the upper lift gate adjustments, loosen the hinge to header bolts and adjust to specifications (Figure ). (Refer to GAP AND FLUSH )
- Tighten the hinge bolts to 28 N.m (20 ft. lbs.).
- For the lower lift gate adjustments, loosen the striker screws and adjust to specifications (Figure ). (Refer to GAP AND FLUSH )
- Tighten the striker screws to 28 N.m (20 ft. lbs.).
- Install the upper liftgate opening trim. (Refer to LIFTGATE OPENING UPPER TRIM )
