Latch Striker: Installation

- Position the striker on the d-pillar.
- Install the bolts attaching the striker to the d-pillar and tighten to 28 N.m (20 ft. lbs.) (Figure ).
- Install the tail lamp (Refer to TAIL LAMP ).
- Verify the striker wedge and latch guide plate are correctly aligned and striker is positioned in the center of the latch fishmouth opening. (Figure )
