Disabling & Activating Air Bag System: Notes

WARNING: Unintentional air bag module deployment is possible. Personal injury may result. Never use memory savers when working on air bag system.
Back-up power supply maintains air bag system voltage for about 2 minutes after battery is disconnected. Unintentional air bag module deployment is possible. Personal injury may result. After disabling air bag system, wait at least 2 minutes before servicing air bag system.
CAUTION: Driveability problems may exist. Vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data when battery is disconnected. Vehicle computer systems may have to completed a relearn cycle.
