Front Wiper Module: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove both front wiper arms from the wiper pivots. (Refer to FRONT WIPER ARM ).
- Unlatch and open the hood.
- Remove the cowl plenum cover/grille panel from over the cowl plenum (Fig 1 ). (Refer to COWL GRILLE ).
- Remove the four screws that secure the front wiper module to the cowl plenum panel (Figure ).
- Lift the left end of the front wiper module far enough to access the front wiper motor wire harness connector.
- Disconnect the left headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the front wiper motor from the motor pigtail wire connector.
- Remove the front wiper module from the cowl plenum as a unit.
